CHANGELOG
What's new in SWOTPal
Everything we've shipped that you can see or use, newest first.
Privacy upgrades
- AI requests now go only to model providers that don't store or train on your prompts.
- Reject All in the cookie banner now turns analytics cookies off, and in the EEA, the UK and Switzerland they stay off until you accept.
- A new Security & Privacy page explains where your data lives and who processes it; the privacy policy lists our current providers.
Copy any example into your workspace
- Every company example now has a Copy to my workspace button: the full SWOT and TOWS (and PESTEL, from the PESTEL pages) land in your account as an editable analysis. No Credits used.
- After TOWS, Get a second opinion copies a read-only link to send to a co-founder or mentor.
- The top of each example has a box for your own company or idea, so you can go from reading to analyzing in one step.
- New Trends page and a shorter onboarding: five questions, then a starting point built from your answers.
- Free AI mind map generator page, and monthly billing is back next to weekly and yearly.
AI mind maps
- Describe a topic and watch a mind map stream in, then edit it as a map or as an outline.
- Turn any SWOT (with its TOWS and PESTEL) into a mind map in one click, import an existing outline, or share a read-only link.
- A new sidebar and dashboard: analyses show a mini SWOT, and mind maps sit in Recents next to them.
Projects, PESTEL and action plans
- Projects keep every analysis about one business or idea together.
- Run a PESTEL analysis inside the app, streamed into its six cards.
- Turn TOWS strategies into an action plan with a 30-day check-in.
- Your first TOWS strategy set is free, and any analysis can be shared with a link.
Comparisons that start from your competitors
- After your first SWOT, SWOTPal offers a side-by-side comparison against the competitors you named.
- The business interview is pre-filled from what you told us during onboarding.
Blank SWOT boards
- Start an empty SWOT and fill it in by hand. It opens in edit mode on Strengths and uses no Credits.
PESTEL examples
- Eight company PESTEL analyses join the SWOT examples, each linked from its company's SWOT page.
SWOT for your own business
- A five-question business interview, with AI follow-ups, gives the SWOT the context only you have.
- If the AI doesn't know a company, it says so and asks you instead of guessing.
A new look
- The site and the app were rebuilt in a notebook style: the same tools, easier to read.
- Students can apply for a discount from the pricing page.
Agent Research
- Hand the agent a company or topic: it searches the live web, reads the best sources in full and writes a SWOT where every claim has a citation.
Stability Score
- A 0β100 score for public companies built from profitability, solvency, volatility and valuation, with the methodology published.
